Jubilee in Concert
Jillian stars as Vyry in the premiere of Jubilee, a new folk opera with music by Randy Klein and a libretto by Joan Ross Sorkin. Adapted from Margaret Walker’s novel Jubilee, the opera is inspired by the true story of Walker’s grandmother Vyry, an emancipated enslaved woman.
